Timothy J. Neher
Founding Partner

Mr. Neher is the founder of Accelerated Venture Partners and has several years of experience interacting with the SEC in connection with the provision of debt and equity financing, mergers and public offering transactions for private and public companies. He is also on the Board of Directors of Pinpointed Solutions Inc. and ICP Industries Inc. His past experience involved negotiating global contracts with GE, Seimens, Qualcomm, Uniden, Flextronics and other fortune 500 companies as Chairman and CEO of Wherify Wireless, a public company. In addition he has served as Vice President of Operations for Windy City Product Development and has held other senior executive position through out his career. Mr. Neher, with two decades of experience leading companies, has extensive experience building executive teams and developing company growth strategies for both private and public international companies.

Charles P.R. de C. du Mée, Ph.D.
Director of Life Sciences

Charles has 24 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience.  Charles was a co-founder, Director and Vice President of Nascent Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Nascent, Charles was at COR Therapeutics, (acquired by Millennium Pharmaceuticals for $2 billion), he was Vice President of Technical Operations and previously held the position of Vice President of Product Development. His responsibilities during his 12 years at COR included analytical, process and pharmaceutical development, quality control and contract manufacturing for clinical and commercial products. He helped develop COR’s lead product, Integrilin®, from lead compound to a product with over $300 million in annual sales. Prior to joining COR in 1990, Charles spent four years at Genentech, where he contributed to numerous regulatory documents and two years at Monsanto Company. Charles has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida., and he received both a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biochemistry and a B.Sc.Hons. in Biochemistry from the University of Natal, South Africa.

Mr. Sheehan is the founder and principal of Silicon Valley Wealth Law, a law firm specializing in estate, tax, and business planning for individuals and companies. Combining legal expertise and wealth planning is a natural in Silicon Valley, where Mr. Sheehan has developed strategic relationships with individuals in key companies and throughout the VC community. Since his days as a patent holder and founder of a technology firm over 25 years ago, Mr. Sheehan has cultivated a range of "hands on" expertise as a startup and VC consultant. He continues to advise successful companies in growth strategies: from developing and leveraging technology to service and product marketing, from crafting sales plans to personnel recruiting. Mr. Sheehan holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management from St. Mary's College of California and is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he earned Juris Doctor.
